This is a fun and relevant question to my life. Since I just recently got to see…………….Wicked! and was incredibly stoked on it. A completely random but perfectly fateful situation where I got to see this show, third row front and center…..for free! So. Frickin. Amazing. I cried from the second the lights when out until long passed the standing ovation. That show was amazing. I also saw Spring Awakening last year. Loved that. And have seen many other plays performed by my high school (which were amazing). And will continue to go to as many as I can throughout the course of my life. I love live performances and the theatre. I’m a bigger fan of film, just because of the variety that can be captured - such as close ups of facial expression, movements, specific props places or people that need to be focused on, etc. But a live performance is so beautiful. It makes me so happy for the performers. And only reassures me of my dream of performing someday, somehow.
